CONNODER - Reliable Connection Expert
Designed for power connection of industrial equipment
CONNODER 7/8" circular connectors adopt 7/8"-16 UNF thread locking structure, mainly used for power and electrical connection of industrial equipment, providing stable and reliable connection solutions for automation machinery, industrial control equipment and power systems.
To meet different equipment mounting structures and application requirements, CONNODER supplies solder socket, PCB mount socket, assembled plug and pre-molded cable assemblies. Multiple pin counts, male/female types, mounting ways and cable lengths are available.
Whether for internal equipment interface design or power interconnection between devices, you can select proper 7/8" connectors according to practical applications.
The 7/8" circular connector is an industrial circular connector with a 7/8-inch threaded interface, widely used for power supply and electrical connections of industrial equipment.
It features a 7/8"-16 UNF thread for mechanical locking between male and female connectors. Compared with push-pull connectors, the threaded locking design delivers better stability for industrial equipment under continuous vibration and long-term operation.
7/8" connectors are available in panel mount, field installable and pre-molded cable versions, to match different installation space, power requirements and wiring layouts.
In industrial scenarios, the 7/8" series is ideal for units requiring dedicated power ports, and systems where power connections need to be separated from signal control interfaces.
Full-scenario coverage to meet industrial power connection, panel mounting and custom cable assembly requirements.

7/8" solder termination sockets are mainly fixed on panels and enclosures of industrial equipment. Wires are soldered to establish electrical connection with internal circuits. Equipped with metal thread interface and sealing structure, front-mount or rear-mount options are available. Ideal for control cabinets, industrial machinery, power supplies and automation equipment power ports.
Features
- Panel mount design
- Solder termination
- Metal thread locking structure
- Multiple pin configurations available
- Different mounting structures for selection

7/8" PCB mount sockets connect external power ports directly to PCB boards. Terminals are soldered onto PCB for electrical contact while the housing is fixed on equipment panel. This integrated design reduces internal wiring and makes the interface more compact.
Features
- PCB solder terminals
- Panel mounting support
- Stable electrical performance
- Suitable for compact integrated design
- Multiple pin count options

7/8" field installable plugs are designed for on-site cable assembly and equipment maintenance. Users can assemble cables with connectors on site according to wiring length and electrical requirements. Thread locking design, straight version available, perfect for field wiring, cable replacement and maintenance work.
Features
- On-site cable assembly
- Male / Female options
- Straight body design
- Easy maintenance & cable replacement
- Compatible with specified cable specs

7/8" overmolded cable assemblies adopt integrated molding technology for connector and cable, eliminating on-site wiring and secondary assembly. Straight and angled versions are available. Custom cable length, jacket material and pin configuration are supported. It simplifies assembly for OEMs with standardized production and stable quality.
Features
- Integrated overmolding of connector & cable
- Straight / Angled options
- Custom cable length
- PVC, PUR and other jacket materials optional
- Bulk OEM / ODM supported
When selecting a 7/8" connector, do not only look at the housing shape. Determine the pin count based on power circuits, grounding requirements, rated current and cable specifications.
CONNODER’s product documentation lists different pin configurations with corresponding electrical parameters for reference. Final selection shall be subject to official drawings and rated specifications of the specific part number.
For equipment manufacturers, the connector itself is only part of the connection solution. Cable length, conductor cross-section, jacket material, bending space and on-site installation method also affect the reliability of the whole connection system.
CONNODER provides custom 7/8" overmolded cable assemblies according to project requirements.
Define 7/8" interface, gender, pin count and mounting type.
Select cable based on voltage, current, conductor cross-section and operating environment.
Complete conductor processing and electrical connection per approved wiring diagram.
Overmold the connector and cable as required by the product structure.
Perform continuity, insulation and sealing tests as required.
Deliver according to confirmed part number, length, labeling and packaging requirements.
The 7/8" series features power transmission capability and reliable threaded connection, ideal for industrial applications requiring equipment power supply and stable electrical connections.
Power interfaces for automation machines, actuators and peripheral devices, supporting modular wiring.
Power supply connections for motors and drives that meet voltage, current and interface requirements.
External electrical interfaces for control cabinets, power modules and industrial equipment.
For industrial machinery with matching interfaces, supporting power connection and on-site maintenance.
Electrical connections and auxiliary power supply for production equipment.
Selection cannot be based solely on diameter. Electrical standards, pin assignment, rating and mounting structure must be considered.
If your equipment adopts 7/8" interface originally, or your design requires a dedicated industrial power port, 7/8" series is preferred.
For compact sensor interfaces or industrial network connections, select corresponding coded M12 connectors.
For other size connection requirements, you may also compare CONNODER M16 series.
Note: These three connectors are mechanically non-interchangeable and cannot be mated directly. Do not judge current or power rating only by outer diameter.
From mold development to pre-shipment inspection, we control the whole process in-house to guarantee precision and reliability of every 7/8" connector
